Every two years, the Port de Plaisance at the Bastille bears more than a passing resemblance to the city of the Doges for a weekend during the Venetian carnival in Paris.

Classical music, storytelling sessions and cultural panels form part of this colourful and elegant procession with real Venetian gondolas, carnival floats on boats and a procession of revellers.
