Black and White driver for Epson R1800 / R800

Unfortunately BO mode (Black Only, impression only of black ink on paper) completely disappeared from the new Epson R1800 and R800 drivers. As a result, the black and white printing do not exploit the excellent capacities of these printers.
The Epson’s japanese drivers, still preserve this function, you will find them below (Windows only). As the names of printers are different in Japanese and English, you will be able to have the two drivers installed at the same time: the usual one for color printing and the Japanese driver for BO mode.
Select the printer (R800 = PX-G920, R1800 = PX-G5000) and click on “Properties”:

In the next screen select “Black” and “Custom” mode, then click on “Advanced”:

Choose “SuperPhoto” as “Print Quality” and “2.2″ for the “Gamma”:

Now you are ready to print…
